“Bigger than ever” says Hadley Dryden chairperson of eXplore Central North Island. “This years eXplore Show will be an absolute boomer.”
More than 100 tourism products will be selling their wares at this tourism trade show focusing on the Central North Island on April 17 at Eden Park.
Dryden says in a media release that there will be 35 tourism operators exhibiting for the first time, and more than 50 new products being launched to trade at the show.
“This year will be a great mix of quality known tourism experiences and accommodations, and a number of exciting new products that are ready to work with trade.”
The show is coordinated for Central North Island operators to promote to tourism trade buyers - inbound tour operators, tourism wholesalers, I SITES, as well as industry partners such as Tourism NZ and tourism media.
Dryden says this is a great opportunity for buyers to update product knowledge to suit their markets/customers, having caught up with existing suppliers – some of whom they may have never met before, and connect with several new suppliers as well. "We also pull out some warm Central North Island hospitality and a few prizes too so it’s a great day all round.”
Explore Central North Island (ECNI) is a marketing collective of eight regions which work together to promote regions and experiences to international tourism trade. Consisting of The Coromandel, Bay of Plenty, Tairawhiti-Gisborne, Hawke’s Bay, Ruapehu, Great Lake Taupo, Rotorua, and Hamilton & Waikato Regions. This will be the 7th eXplore Show the group has coordinated.
